NEDAW Recap

So I'm just going to post the pictures of what I did for National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. It was such a great experience for me and my friends that supported me this week! If you want to learn more about my story with my connection with eating disorders you can check out my other blog: http://dreadfulthoughtsofadistraughtteen.blogspot.com/

"Mirrorless Monday"
Spent the day without looking in any mirrors!
"Operation Beautiful Tuesday"
Covered one of the bathrooms at school with uplifting
quotes about loving yourself.
"Let it go Wednesday"
Some of my friends did this with me.
We wrote our insecurities on balloons and let them go!
"Treat Yourself Thursday"
Some friends and I went to Jamba Juice and had some fun
and then later that night my sister and her friend took me to
get some frozen yogurt! Great day!
"Free yourself Friday"
Wrote a letter to myself of the things I want to accomplish this year
"Selfies for Self-confidence Saturday"
Took some selfies of myself throughout the day :)

NEDAW ~National Eating Disorder Awareness Week

I'm sorry it's been forever but I'm back and I'll try to keep up with this blog now! My life is starting to slow down a bit...it's still crazy but I've learned how to deal with it now! Haha.
So this week is National Eating Disorder Awareness Week. I'm a big supporter to anyone who is looking for help with eating disorders. It's something that always seems to go unnoticed...but it's out there and it's a dangerous thing. It's something that needs attention and that is what this whole week is about. Every day is something different and you can participate in it if you would like. Today is all about spreading the awareness. I'm going to post some pictures with information about eating disorders for this post. If you or somebody you know are dealing with an eating disorder, please find help. I know it's hard and I know it's scary but you really can live a happy and healthy life. I know it :) I love you all!

This picture is for an awareness campaign I am participating in.
"Recovery is being able to look in the mirror and smile at what I see."
This is what each day is for this week!
Please participate and help spread the awareness :)
