Random thoughts....

What a crazy month this past month has been and what a roller coaster it's been. I love roller coaster moments in life. They may be crazy, but they are worth it in the end...at least for me. They help shape me more when I go through those roller coaster moments. Yes, they can be exhausting and frustrating and hard, but they are needed in my life and I don't know who I would be without those roller coaster moments. This past month I've thought a lot about this family I was close with that moved back in February. I didn't realize how much they meant to me until this month when I needed them most. I love and care for that family and always will! Stott family...you guys are amazing and I can't wait to see you all again! Love you guys. Well that's enough of me rambling on I guess. Tough Times Will Come

This week has been a really hard one for me. All since Monday I have really been shook up and I haven't really been myself. First off...I feel bad to any of my friends, family and to my boyfriend for having to deal with me the past couple of days. I've been a wreck. I know it. I'm beating myself up inside and it's made things even worse. I'm sorry to all of those who may be feeling like I don't like them or that I'm just mad at them or something. I'm not. I promise you. I am not angry towards anyone but myself. I'm trying to switch gears a little and start being happier...it just takes time. Thank you to all of you who have told me they understand and are patient. Andrew, if you ever read this...I know I've been a little vague with you this week and I apologize for that. Don't worry. I want you to know I love you. You have done nothing wrong and I don't want you to even think you have. This is all me trying to figure my life out. I've been overwhelmed and I'm sorry if you think I'm pushing you away...I'm not trying to. I love you.
Okay...sorry that got a little personal but it needed to be said. Like I said it's been a hard week. I have been tearing myself down and it kind of spiraled out of control in my head. With it being the first week into the new year, we all make plans to be better. I know my life this year will be changing so much. Everything I have been given in the past, it soon can all be taken away. Things I have never done before, I'm starting to do them (like dying my hair!!! Yup, did that, finally. :D) I'm making a change in myself and in my life this year. Some changes are intentional and we choose to change our lives. Some changes we have no control over. This new year, I know my life will be changing. This year is one of the most important years in my life as I start to plan for my future, which just happens to be a huge fear of mine. So, I know a lot of my friends who are going through many things in their lives, as well as myself. Life can be...well life and sometimes it just really sucks. We go through things we never thought we would have to face. We cry, we get hurt, we feel bad, we regret, and sometimes we feel broken. But there is always something good in your life, no matter how hard it seems. You are blessed and you are always loved. I want to dedicate this post specifically to my friend, Gabby. Hey guys! I'm back and I survived! I did end up hurting my foot ( the picture on the right), but that's okay, it doesn't hurt too bad. Anyways, camp was so great. It was a lot of fun and I learned so much up there. For example, my ward does not want to wake me up if I don't sleep with them and they will just let me miss breakfast...and flag ceremony. Or my bishop and his counselor are really good at soaking other people while canoeing...man that was cold! Haha. I also learned a lot about friendship up there and got to meet lots of new girls this year. It was such a joy being a YCL and a whole new experience. I loved going on the sunrise hike, even if I had to wake up around 4:20 a.m., it still was amazing. I almost froze the last night, and it didn't help that I decided to take an ice cold shower and wash my hair with freezing water in the spigot. Haha. But as I said, it was so much fun. So there's this girl in my ward, her name is Ari. She is like the most crazy girl ever! Haha, she always makes me laugh and I just love her to death. Haha. It's been awhile...

Hey guys! Sorry it's been awhile since my last post. I was thinking about doing one this past week, but I was hardly gone. I went on a YCL retreat on Tuesday and Wednesday and then on Thursday till Saturday I was gone on Trek. For those of you who don't know what Trek is, it's where you go off for a few days and pull handcarts and pretty much are pioneers for those few days. So it was pretty hard, but it was so much fun. One step at a time...

Hey guys! It's almost summer! I cannot wait! I'm soooo excited! I'm so tired of school right now. I need a break! It's so weird to think how old I'm going to be...I mean yeah, I'm not too old...but still to me...I'm growing up WAAAAYYYY TOO FAST! So these last few weeks have been insane! My sister left for her mission and will be flying out to Richmond, Virginia this Wednesday! This will be the longest that she has been away from home! A year and a half...which isn't too long, but still...she's my sister. I've lived with her my whole life, and even when she did move out, it wasn't like I still couldn't see her...whereas this...I won't get to see her till that year and a half is over. Well, I'm sure she will learn a lot and she'll have a blast! Oh, last post I mentioned that I was doing One Acts for my school...well we did really good. I'm really proud of everybody who was in it. We got in a three-way tie for Judges Choice of Best One Act! I want to just really quick thank my director for all she has taught me through it all. She is so amazing, not just as a director, but as a friend too. I had a blast being a part of her One Act. I am so grateful for the experience she gave me. Thank you so much Bonnie! I'm really going to miss you! As well as the rest of the cast from my One Act! I had a lot of fun with all of you! You all are amazing! Oh and guess who got to skip Drama 2 and made it into Drama 3! Yup, this girl! I'm so happy and sooo thankful! The end of this school year is finally starting to work out! It's exactly what I needed to keep me going. I have learned a lot this year, and have been through a lot...but I'm grateful for all the good moments, actually I'm grateful for every moment, whether good or bad. I know myself a little better, and know what I can handle a little more than I used to know. This is what life is about. You are given trials to learn. You are only given what you can handle. Thought I would do another post on friends. I love my friends, and they are amazing! I seriously would be lost without them. Sorry I haven't kept up on my blog, but with the end of the school year, it's been crazy! I hope you all are doing great. I have a HUGE thing coming up. My school is doing One Acts for drama, and I had to try out cuz I want to skip to Drama 3 even though I haven't taken Drama 2. So, the drama teacher wanted me to do One Acts to see if I can be in Drama 3. So wish me luck on that, I'll be preforming my One Act next week. Also, I have Morp this Saturday, which I'm really excited for. The theme is Opposites Attract and me and my date possibly are going to go as Love/Hate. But we aren't positive. Also this week is my dad's birthday. He died back when I was 5, and I miss him. But my family always celebrates his birthday by sending balloons with little messages on them. Tears, fears and yester years

It's funny how life turns out. Life can be so amazing, but it can also really suck. Lately I've had a lot of things going on in life that have made my life great, and people have made me feel great, but there has been quite a few tears this past month. I've been having the time of my life this week though. So, it's getting better. It's just a little hard, and I feel so helpless. Thankfully I have amazing friends who have been there for me every day this month. I have no idea how I would function if it wasn't for my friends. They have helped me through the tears, my fears, and throughout the years. They all mean so much to me. I may cry, and things may go wrong but they will help me face my fears and make me feel better. Hey, sorry it's been so long. I've been super busy. There's been a lot of things going on lately and I've just been having a hard time lately, but at the same time I feel like life couldn't be any better. There are those moments that make you realize why life is so precious. There are the people who make you realize life is worth it, and I'm worth it.
