Is there any way to say sorry?

This week, as some of you know, my friend and I had one of those bumps in the road. It's been a difficult week for both of us, and things just happened. I really feel bad for anything that I might have said or done to make her think that I don't care. But, she is my best friend and I miss talking to her. I want us to be friends again, and I'm so sorry. I hope these quotes help her understand how sorry I am. So, this is for you Halle. I hope you realize how deeply sorry I am.

Forgivness begins with me!

I know there are many times that I get angry at people and I hate being the one that has to apologize. But I'm finally starting to grasp that even if they're the ones who are wrong, we still need to forgive them. I know forgiving people doesn't come easy, especially when they are your friend and they really hurt you. I am learning to be quicker to forgive, but I'm still human and need help...so here are some quotes that I hope will help you, as well as myself.

Just be yourself.

I have heard SO many quotes about being yourself. Some of you may not know this, but I used to pretend to be something I wasn't. I had a group of friends who I thought wouldn't like me if I wasn't like them...so I changed. I started doing things, (not bad things) that I wouldn't have done. I was becoming something totally opposite from myself. I hated when my family would tell how I changed or how even some of my real friends told me I was different. It hurt, because I knew it was true. Finally one day, a friend of mine said, "You know, I never hang out with you anymore because you are so different." I had enough, and when I went home that day I found this quote: "Be your own kind of beautiful." I broke down into tears, and knew things HAD to change. I started becoming the person I really was and I felt good about myself. I will say this, there are still things that I am working on because of what I did. It really leaves a mark on you. But I'm getting there and things are getting better. I love how friends are always there!

At the beginning of the month I did a post about friends. Well, seeing that my friends are such great friends, I decided to do another one. There are lots of friends I don't see anymore and I really miss, so to those friends...this post is for you!

Life is full of mistakes

We've all had that time when we wish we hadn't said or done something. That's exactly what I'm going through now. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but the only thing I can say is "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I hurt you and you disagree with me, but I didn't mean for you to get upset with me. I just wanted you to be aware of it and realize what's really going on. I'm sorry you think I'm being pushy and telling you what to do, I'm just trying to help you. I really am sorry.
